I still don't get Albie. Did he pick up the rentboy because he's just plain psycho? Was it to pump himself up for tormenting the Henrickson's? Is he a serial killer? WHAT?

Still, his shrieking and slamming his head against the wall was hysterical. I've watched it about ten times now and haha.

The opening credits for this show are just phenomenal. The song, the skating, the dinner with the planets... It's so crackalicious and pretty and perfect for the show. Question though: when the ice cracks and divides them (shown in picture below), is that supposed to represent the divisions within the family or is it foreshadowing?

I think I might also have a little bit of a crush on Joey. Which, hello disturbing! I mean, his hair alone is enough to make me run screaming. But, I couldn't wait for the repeat on Wednesday, so I downloaded 1x08 and just saw the scene with Joey and Barb and the "you're a monogamist" and oh harts. I hope he and Wanda don't get totally fucked over this season.

HOLYWTF? HOMG. Frank is in league with Roman? I swear to God, I'm right behind Wanda in the ready to kill him line. He's even ... beaten out Nicki in the Most Hated Character Olympics. Rargh.

Sopranos
The recap at TWoP for last week's episode mentioned that the recapper never fast-forwards through the credits because they're just so incredible. True that, Capper of the Re. In fact, double true.

I really think I need to start getting into sitcoms because trying to keep up with all these season-long and show-long plots on my dramas is starting to annoy me. I spent almost ten years on the X-Files -- believe me, that was enough. Now, even if the shows are practically spelling out future plot developments in the shrubbery, I can't be arsed to pay attention. Mytharc, schmytharc. Just wrap it up at the end of the episode and move on already.
