Last week was pretty lazy, writing-wise. I'm still on track for my findyourwords goal though! (And if you're looking for a kick in the pants re: writing, you still have time to sign up there. I think it's open until the 30th?)

1. I wear a size 10 shoe. Which sucks, because apparently your feet get bigger/spread out as you age. By the time I'm forty, I'll probably have to make my own shoes out of cardboard and rawhide strips or something. (although that sounds kind of fun)

2. I'm paralyzed by the very thought of speaking in public. Even if "public" is only a group of ten people, most of whom I know.

3. I won't eat mushrooms, nor will I willingly eat something that I know has touched a mushroom. Blech. Spores gross me out, but I have no problems with mold and ferns. Go figure.

4. The one historical event I wish I could witness more than any other? The moment when man first created fire on his own. Did he know what that meant? Was it just a piece of luck or was it deliberate? Was he revered as a divine being or shunned as a demon?

5. I have no memory of any childhood dreams of what I wanted to be when I grew up. It's lost forever (although I've since been told it ranged from astronaut to detective to cat).

6. My teenage years were sadly lacking in rebellion. It never occurred to me that I could sneak out of my house, get drunk, get high or whatever the other kids were doing. I saved all that for college. :D

"Accidentally" watching episodes of Eccleston's Doctor the night before one has to call contacts in Manchester = of the bad. If by bad you mean having to have a bit of a squee after disconnecting one out of every three calls. &squees;

However. Being in such a joyous and squeeful mood all day did wonders for my call rate and spurred me to present my design ideas to the Big Boss. FTW!

I love how I can't shut up about that comic. And by love, I mean hate. God. Get a hobby already, self. Jeez.

Also, when I went to my parent's house tonight to see my sister (and Monk! and Psych!), she was watching What a Girl Wants. LULZ. That movie's such a crapfest, but it sucks me in every single time. I blame the reunion of Mr Darcy and Miss Caroline Bingley. Dawww, poor Caro.
